The Scent and Special Properties: Indigo Sundries calls Kentucky home. We love our beautiful state, the hills, the history, the people, the heritage. We wanted to make a fragrance that would exemplify the Kentucky man. What kind of man, you might ask... well, we had a few in mind when making this one: Daniel Boone, Abraham Lincoln, James Bowie, Nathan Stubblefield and so many others. So what does The Kentuckian smell like? This fragrance begins with fresh, daring notes of bergamot and lemon, followed by middle notes of peppercorn, ginger, jasmine, aquatic marine notes and a hint of peppermint, sitting on base notes of cedar, vetiver, labdanum and frankincense. This scent is ultra manly, with a rowdy spirit but refined manners. This is the perfect man... The Kentuckian. The Soap: Our cold-process soaps are made of coconut and olive oil and handcrafted in small batches. The oils create a lot of lather, are gentle on the skin, and will leave you feeling clean all over. No parabens, phthalates, SLS, petroleum or silicone. Approximate weight: 5 oz. To help your soap last as long as possible, please let it air dry between uses. (Think of it as a fine wine. It needs to breathe.) Our shampoo bars are packed with good-for-your-hair ingredients, incredible lather and gentle cleansing power, with no synthetic detergents, parabens or other nasty additives. Just great handmade soap designed specifically for all hair types. It's a great beard wash too! Olive oil increases follicle strength and builds elasticity, which helps prevent split ends and breakage. It's also great for soothing your scalp and gives your hair body. Grass-fed beef tallow provides essential fatty acids and vitamins A, D, E and K, which your hair needs to be strong, conditioned and moisturized. Coconut oil promotes a healthy scalp, provides shine and helps lock in proteins to keep your hair nourished. Fenugreek is rich in protein, calcium, iron, folic acid and vitamins C and A, which are essential for hair growth, shine and overall hair health. It's also great for scalp conditions. Bentonite clay is very mineral-rich, and it also helps control frizz, improve hair texture and thickness, promote hair growth and strengthen hair. Your hair will be clean, healthy and nourished… and we have some lovely scented options if you want it to smell great too! Scent descriptions: Citrus, Cedar & Rosemary: Woody notes from cedarwood oil with a hint of evergreen from the rosemary, plus bright citrus notes from orange essential oil. Imaginative and very complex! I would say it's similar to Victoria's Secret Love Spell. It's not a dupe, but it is reminiscent of that fragrance. Pipe & Jug Soap

The Scent and Special Properties: Pipe and Jug is a soap for men who love the smell of good pipe tobacco, tasty bourbons and smoky mahogany. Top notes of mahogany and crystal amber, followed by middle notes of star jasmine, clove leaf and soft cashmere, with masculine base notes of sweet tobacco, tonka bean and white musk. If Sherlock Holmes were a real person, I think he would smell like this. As with almost all of our soap, this one also contains Bentonite clay. It is such a powerful toxin-grabbing beast of a clay that we LOVE to use it! It lends a silky feel to the soap and your skin, without over-drying. Our Cinnamon and Spice soap is made of everything nice! Cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg mixed with essential oils of clove and rosemary. The spices used in this soap give it a level of mild to medium exfoliation. This bar is great for scrubbing dirty hands or removing rough or dry skin. It also smells good enough to eat, but we don't recommend it! With our Tallow Soaps, we built upon our already great soap recipe and modified it to include grass-fed beef tallow! This means that not only will you experience the amazing lather and cleaning abilities of our classic soap blend, but you will also get all the benefits that tallow has to offer. Some of those benefits include a high nutrient content, with vitamins A, D, E, K and niacin, which will leave your skin feeling nourished and ultra moisturized. This is a soap we used to make years ago, but discontinued it when we trimmed down our scent offerings to make our selection less overwhelming. We recently had a customer ask for this very scent, so we decided to bring it back, and we are so glad we did! Wow, this soap smells amazing! (Not sure why we ever decided to trim this one off the list in the first place. 🤷🏻‍♂️) It's a perfect blend of cooling spearmint essential oil and lavender essential oil that complement each other so well!
