This Soap Dish not only looks great rocking our logo, but it serves an important purpose of allowing your soaps to dry out in between uses. “So what?” you might say.. Well, If you haven’t been using a soap dish with our soaps then you are missing out! Allowing your soap to dry between uses is vital for the longevity of cold process (real) soap! We’ve already formulated our soap recipes to produce firm, long lasting bars, but soap dishes allow them to last even longer than if they were just sitting in water all the time which leads to softening and deterioration. (Even if you don’t use this particular one, just please use a soap dish or shower rack that isn’t being sprayed directly with water or sitting in a puddle when not in use.) These wood soap dishes are made right here in the USA using Alder wood, which is naturally water and rot resistant. Which means we don’t apply any wood finish or sealant to them that could eventually seep onto your soap and then onto you. It’s just plain wood. (No, they won’t last forever, but I’ve been using one of these for over 6 months now and I wouldn’t be surprised if it had at least a couple more years to go before it needs replaced.) -Sole Deo Gloria!
